The clients sought a contemporary interpretation of a more historic tudor home for their family, but one that could also host large groups of friends and family.
The home divides itself into two simple, gabled forms - one hosting the owners' suite; the other hosting a garage, kitchen, dining and bedrooms - connected by a grand living space and stair hall between.
A rear lanai steps down to teh pool terrace with raised hot tub and freestanding cabana rounding out the entertaining space.
