The historic West Plaza neighborhood of KCMO is a dense urban home neighborhood currently seeing increased revitalization. Much of the neighborhood is comprised of narrow, shotgun style homes and similarly shaped lots.
On this currently vacant lot a 3-story live-work facility is currently being planned with 800SF+/- of office/ retail space on the main floor and a large 6-bedroom single family home above. To cap the project, a large rooftop terrace with an indoor/ outdoor lounge is planned.
The contemporary building will be nestled into the neighborhood through the use of a black, true-masonry facade that abuts the neighboring comercial building that faces an adjacent street. Dedicated off-street parking is held to the rear of the property.
