A young couple purchased this 15 year old Westside KC home with the desires to turn it into a contemporary sanctuary for them to entertain in.
The existing salt box type house was cleared out, the rear of the house was extended, and a new plan was developed to fit their entertaining lifestyle. The new plan includes large windows focusing on an existing rear courtyard, a new large stone fireplace, and a floating steel staircase that create focal points on the main floor while hosting four bedrooms, allowing the couple to work from home as they settle into the fabric of downtown Kansas City.
