This Micro Residence project was an exploration at maximizing the usability of a small 350SF studio apartment for a close friend. The apartment was zoned by the use of a deep storage wall made of stacked cubes. One cube holds a small ecoSMART drop-in bio-ethanol fireplace to offer warmth and ambiance. Small, modern, apartment-sized appliances allow for the maximum allowable counterspace in the Kitchen. A feature wall for the friends' own artwork or revolving artwork to be showcased is made of an awkward bumpout in the apartment. Finally, a gate leg table finishes out the necessary furnishings of the home.
